Fun with Crochet

A recent project I did while away with Eugene. I hate driving in the car on long trips so I have found crocheting to be amazing relaxing. This hat I made from a pattern I purchased here.
I love the feeling I get every time I put it on C- there is something about a handcrafted item for your child that you can't get from a purchase made at Old Navy or Gap. I've been enjoying creating things for my children like hats, dresses, homemade cereal, etc. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and finishing a task that doing laundry and cleaning a house can't since those are undone very quickly by 3 active children.
